A rigid surface formed across the roof deck

GRP fibreglass roofing combines reinforced matting and resin to create a continuous surface over a suitable flat roof deck. Because the cured system is rigid, the base needs to be sound, stable and properly prepared. Dry conditions matter during the work, as moisture can interfere with application and curing. We lay the reinforcement into the resin, build the surface across the prepared area and finish it with a protective topcoat. With no broad sheet laps across the main field, GRP can produce a neat appearance on roofs with firm substrates and defined perimeter shapes.

Corners, trims and curing planned properly

The middle of a flat roof is often the easy bit. Corners, upstands, outlets and wall junctions need closer attention because the covering changes direction there. We use purpose-made edge trims and reinforce detailed areas as part of the system. Weather conditions and curing time are considered when planning installation, and the fresh surface needs protection while it hardens. Once complete, we check the topcoat, perimeter and drainage details. This gives the roof a coherent finish from one edge to the other.
